Management shake up at Jet Aviation

Jet Aviation has appointed Stephan Krenz (pictured left) as the new senior vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation Basel. In this role, Krenz is responsible for leadership of the facility and for overseeing the entire completions business in the EMEA and Asia region. Krenz assumed the role on 1 July 2011 and reports directly to Dan Clare, president of the Jet Aviation Group. He joined the company from Bombardier Transportation in March 2011, as interim general manager of Jet Aviation Basel.

Krenz began his professional career as a management consultant with A.T. Kearney and joined Bombardier Transportation in 1995. His 15-year tenure with Bombardier culminated with a post as president of the company’s Germany and Scandinavia business unit. He is a graduate of Hamburg University, with a degree in industrial engineering and business administration.

Other changes in Jet Aviation’s EMEA and Asia management team include the appointment of Johannes Turzer (formerly vice president and general manager at Jet Aviation Dusseldorf) as the new vice president and accountable manager of maintenance services at Jet Aviation Basel. Sebastian Groeger, vice president and general manager at Jet Aviation Singapore, will succeed Turzer as the new vice president and general manager at Jet Aviation Dusseldorf from 1 August 2011. The company has also appointed Philippe Crevier as vice president and general manager at Jet Aviation Singapore.
