Cair orders from Comlux America and Associated Air Center

CTT Systems has announced two more orders for its Cair cabin humidification system. Comlux America of Indianapolis, USA, made its fifth Cair order, this time for installation during summer 2013 on an ACJ321. “We have already installed the Cair system in an ACJ320, an ACJ319 and BBJ3 and on an ongoing Boeing VIP project,” said David Edinger, CEO of Comlux America. “We are thoroughly convinced of the added value of the Cair system for Comlux VIP clientele.”

Meanwhile Associated Air Center (AAC) of Dallas, USA, ordered Cair for installation during 2013/2014 on a BBJ 747-8. “Our clients are among the world’s most prominent and distinguished, therefore our completions projects must incorporate the finest in inflight cabin comfort systems,” said Patricio Altuna, executive vice president of sales and marketing at AAC. “Using CTT’s Cair system supports this objective.” AAC has already installed Cair on an A330-200, a B767-200, an A319 and a BBJ1.

Cair provides a relative humidity of around 20%, compared to 3-5% without. The system is based on evaporative cooling technology and uses a method designed to effectively preclude the transfer of bacteria within the aircraft. The solution also incorporates CTT’s Zonal Drying System to counter condensation problems.
