Bombardier to show Challenger 605 and Global 6000 at Aero India

Bombardier Aerospace plans to showcase its Challenger 605 and Global 6000 jets at Aero India 2013, which will be held near Bangalore, India, on 6-10 February. “It’s an exciting time for business aviation in India, and we are playing our part in connecting India’s business leaders with the rest of the world by providing the ultimate tools to improve their efficiency,” said Nilesh Pattanayak, the company’s regional vice president, sales, Asia-Pacific.

The large-category Challenger 605 can fly six passengers 4,000nm (7,408km), for example from Mumbai, India, to Athens, Greece. Meanwhile, the Global 6000 can link Mumbai with London, UK, and Kolkata with Sydney, Australia, non-stop, with eight passengers and 3-4 crew. Highlights of the Global 6000 include an optional stand-up shower and the Bombardier Vision Flight Deck.

Bombardier Specialized and Amphibious Aircraft will also promote its services and aircraft at the airshow. Over the course of more than 40 years, Bombardier has provided governments and governmental agencies around the world with more than 300 modified aircraft.
