Upholstery expert joins Spirit Aeronautics

Spirit Aeronautics of Columbus, Ohio, has welcomed Tammie Hogan to its aircraft interior team as an aircraft upholstery technician.

“Tammie is an absolutely amazing upholstery expert who will bring her experience and dedication to our growing interiors business,” said Tony Bailey, president of Spirit Aeronautics. “I worked with Tammie before and we lost touch until a mutual friend said she was working in the area. I knew that she is the person we wanted in our interior shop to train and mentor our people to a standard that is reflective of the Spirit core values and principles.”

Hogan has been fabricating aircraft interiors for more than 18 years, starting at Dassault Falcon Jet in 1996. Since then, she has gained expertise working at Savannah Air Center, Jet Aviation, Hawker Beechcraft, Robinson Aircraft Interiors and most recently Constant Aviation. She has experience on aircraft types including the Dassault Falcon 20, 50, 900, 900EX and 2000; Gulfstream GII, GIII and GIV; Bombardier Global Express; Cessna Citation; Piaggio Avanti; Raytheon Hawker, BeechJet and King Air; BBJ 737, BBJ 747 and BBJ 777; and ACJ318, ACJ319 and ACJ320. Spirit Aeronautics’ services include aircraft management, avionics, parts sales, engineering, maintenance and interior refurbishment.

The company also recently hired Patrick Gentile as regional sales manager to spearhead new business development in the US Southern region.
