DaVinci Inflight Training Institute releases course details

Details have been revealed of the cabin safety training that will be offered by Scott Arnold at the DaVinci Inflight Training Institute when the facility opens this summer. The 6,500ft² facility, founded by Paula Kraft, will open at the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport in Florida. Arnold will also offer courses on inflight service, etiquette and career development.

Through co-operation with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, DaVinci is enabling students to complete standalone and blended online courses, designed to be completed prior to attending courses at the facility. The courses include SMARTtraveler, The Professional You, Pilot Essentials, Food Allergens, Special Meal Planning, and Menu Writing, and updates on the Food Safety Modernization Act and Safety Management System training.

Graduates can test their skills in a mock flight department area at the facility. Bespoke courses on butler training, new galley technology, and food packaging and presentation will also be available.

Arnold applied decades of experience in business aviation cabin safety training to develop the program. Students can attend courses ranging from a single day to week-long elite classes. Class sizes are capped at 12 students.

“Our school stands apart from the rest of the other training companies as we will not only provide industry expert programs but also draw from current life experiences,” said Arnold.

“Every instructor is experienced and currently working as a corporate flight attendant, cabin crew or caterer. We are talking the talk and walking the walk. Our programs are continually updated to be the most relevant, current and innovative in our ever-changing industry.”
