Challenger 300 redelivered after mid-life inspection by Constant Aviation

Constant Aviation completed its second mid-life/7,500-cycle inspection on a Challenger 300. “To have inspections of this magnitude report squawk-free test flights with no discrepancies, speaks to the sheer quality of our work and the level of detail exercised by our team,” said Darren Fronk, director of maintenance operations at Constant Aviation.

The inspection is the largest required on this airframe. The team’s target was a 90-day downtime; the work took around 10,000+ man hours. The work involved dismantling the interior, horizontal stabilizer, engines, flight controls, landing gear and avionics. Staff NDT specialists later conducted an NDT inspection on the aircraft and its components.

“Not only have we executed two successful deliveries on the heels of one another, we are fortunate to be working Challenger 300 inspections concurrently through the remainder of 2017,” said Dave Bowman, executive vice president of operations at Constant Aviation.
