G600 cabin testbed shown at NBAA-BACE 2017

A fully outfitted Gulfstream G600 – being used as the cabin testbed – has made its debut at NBAA-BACE, held in Las Vegas on October 10-12, 2017. Gulfstream is targeting FAA type certification and customer deliveries in 2018.

“In the three years since our G600 cabin was on display at NBAA-BACE, we received considerable customer feedback and have incorporated many of those suggestions into our first production G600,” said Mark Burns, president at Gulfstream.

The G600 can seat up to 19 passengers and feature four living areas. Cabin options include a fixed bed, berthable divans, forward and aft lavatories, forward and aft galleys, three new seating styles, a steam oven, an interchangeable beverage maker, a refrigerator that can be placed above or below the galley counter, and various material finish options. Customers can choose stone flooring for the entry, vestibule, galley and lavatories.

The cabin has 14 windows and features 100% fresh air. As well as CMS for controlling lighting, shades, temperature and IFE, Gulfstream offers satcom and high-speed internet options including Jet ConneX.

The aircraft has a range of 6,500 nautical miles (12,038km) at Mach 0.85.
