GVH Aerospace medevac stretcher chosen by RUAG for the Dornier 228

RUAG Aviation has chosen the AeroStretcher Mk IV medevac stretcher kit from GVH Aerospace to replace the stretcher product previously offered for the Dornier 228.

The kit is suitable for all Dornier 228 aircraft, holds an EASA STC, and has a modular design intended to ensure flexibility so that patients can be transported securely throughout a mission, including when transferring to and from the aircraft. The stretcher is also designed for easy fastening and unfastening and has a multi-fit floor interface system to enable various cabin configurations.

“The AeroStretcher Mk IV reflects the versatility and functionality of the aircraft and ensures stability within, what can be, challenging operating environments,” said Thomas Müller, product manager, Dornier 228, RUAG Aviation. “The very straightforward features of the STC are ideal for safeguarding effective medevac missions and also allow the STC to remain an economical solution.”
