Vertis Aviation and Privajet present Global 6000 for charter

Vertis Aviation is working with management company Privajet to market a privately owned Bombardier Global 6000 for international charter. The sub-Saharan-based aircraft is the first Bombardier type to be registered on Privajet’s Maltese AOC. It will begin operations at the end of July 2018.

The forward section features a four-place club and four-place conference seating, while the aft features a three-place divan and two-seat club. The seats convert to provide sleeping places for six passengers. The cabin has a chocolate and cream palette, complemented by brushed nickel on lights, sideledges and controls. SwiftBroadband connectivity supports always-on voice, internet and data to meet communication, entertainment and information needs. The aircraft has a range in excess of 6,000 nautical miles and can fly at Mach 0.89.

Privajet and Vertis have an existing relationship – Vertis has marketed and promoted Privajet’s BBJ since November 2014. In the past 12 months, Vertis clients have chartered more than 580 hours on the jet. “We have experienced a real uptick in African business in the past 12 months, which is being driven by stronger commodity prices, increased political stability and the growing demand for newer charter aircraft,” said Jeffrey Emmenis, partner at Vertis Aviation. “With this aircraft added to our unique portfolio, clients have access to a beautiful long-range, large cabin jet that we know will be managed and operated by Privajet to the highest standards. This will appeal to many of our clients, not just in Africa but around the globe.”

“Africa is a market where we know the potential is enormous and Vertis is well positioned to exploit this,” said Jerome Franier, commercial director at Privajet.
