HighTech strives to meet – and even exceed – environmental standards for electroplating. Our company is permitted by the City of Houston to discharge treated water directly into the city’s waste treatment system. As part of this green initiative, we introduced a Source Reduction/Waste Minimization Plan that uses specific chemicals and filtration processes to remove contaminants that could otherwise enter the water system. Testing is performed multiple times per day at our laboratory to ensure that effluent is within permitted limits.
Finally, with the current COVID-19 concerns, HighTech has voluntarily taken extra precautions in processing, wrapping and shipping to ensure parts are free from possible contamination.
