The flagship of Comlux’s VIP fleet, a BBJ 767, has undergone a four-month maintenance and upgrade programme, and is back to service under the new name SkyLady. The aircraft is equipped with 2Ku-band wi-fi connectivity, as well as a new air-ionisation purification system. The VIP aircraft is designed for both business and leisure travel, with a range enabling flights up to 15 hours.
The widebody aircraft features 177m² (1,900ft²) of cabin floor area and cargo space for up to 300 bags. The cabin is divided in to six independent areas and is suitable for up to 51 passengers. Comlux describes the interior as “super-silent”.
At the front, the master suite features an ultra-king-size bed with en-suite bathroom equipped with a full-height shower. Two more rooms complete the private quarters: a lounge with an L-shaped sofa, convertible into a second bedroom with a double bed, and a club room suitable for private dinners and business meetings. The executive area features 15 first-class seats with 80in pitch that convert into full-flat single beds. This is followed by a separate entourage section with 29 seats.
Comlux noted the 2Ku-band wi-fi connectivity makes reliable, high-speed internet coverage available in flight, offering up to 50Mbps. The new CMS enables full access to various media and non-stop streaming online, for all passengers.
Besides its comfort and connectivity enhancements, SkyLady is now equipped with an all-new ionisation system designed to improve air quality in the cabin by removing viruses, bacteria and spores in the air and on surfaces, and by eliminating annoying and noxious odours. The aircraft already features a HEPA filtering system.
