SmartSky Networks, an inflight air-to-ground (ATG) connectivity provider for business aviation, has announced Hillsboro Aviation as a sales and installation partner.
An FAA-certified Part 145 repair station, the company is adding SmartSky inflight connectivity upgrades for business aircraft to its full MRO service capabilities.

Based at the Portland-Hillsboro Airport (KHIO) in Portland, Oregon, Hillsboro Aviation was founded in 1980 and offers helicopter and aircraft services. SmartSky’s solutions include the SmartSky LITE system designed for smaller business aircraft. The first article installations of the system were recently performed on a King Air 350 and a HA-420 HondaJet. Meanwhile the SmartSky Flagship system is designed for mid- to large-cabin airframes. SmartSky said both systems deliver equally high-performance moving data to and from the aircraft.
