At NBAA-BACE 2024, Delos, a custom rug manufacturer, announced the expansion of its US manufacturing facility, adding 40,000ft² to its existing 165,000ft² space in Calhoun, Georgia.
The new space will accommodate robotic tufting machines, which Delos said supported its ability to deliver fully customised rugs and aviation carpets swiftly while upholding a reputation for quality craftsmanship.
“Our building expansion is a testament to the steady growth we’ve experienced, thanks to our time in the market and the brand awareness we’ve built across various channels,” said Delos co-president Ivan Phillips. “This new facility aligns perfectly with our high-tech manufacturing processes, enabling us to better serve our clients with even greater efficiency.”
Delos’ expansion will also allow for enhanced production of its Journey Made cut-to-order custom rugs, designed for clients seeking bespoke floor coverings with a fast turnaround.
In recent years, Delos has refined its brand and product development under the direction of co-president Leah Phillips, emphasising high-end custom capabilities.
The expansion is expected to be completed in Spring 2025.
