Spectrum Aeromed has collaborated with BDMS Medevac Center, Bangkok Hospital Headquarters, to develop the new Aeromedical Transport Training Center. Equipped with Spectrum Aeromed’s latest air ambulance solutions, the centre will serve as a training ground for medical professionals from BDMS’s hospitals and across the region.
The training centre includes two advanced air ambulance modules featuring carbon fibre medwalls and specialised medical device mounts, allowing trainees to practice real-time patient care in high-pressure air transport scenarios. These technologies, already trusted by EMS providers worldwide, are designed to prepare healthcare teams for the complex challenges of inflight medical care.
“We take pride in supporting international healthcare initiatives that enhance medical preparedness for air transport,” said Horst Heinicke, VP of international sales at Spectrum Aeromed. “This collaboration strengthens the global infrastructure for emergency medical services and equips professionals with the expertise needed to save lives in critical situations.”
As part of the BDMS network, the Aeromedical Transport Training Center at Bangkok Hospital Headquarters primarily serves medical teams from BDMS’s network hospitals and across Southeast Asia.
