Comlux has signed a three-year endorsement agreement with Romain Grosjean, a Swiss racing driver who competes in the IMSA SportsCar Championship for Lamborghini and serves as a reserve driver in the IndyCar Series for Prema.
Comlux said the partnership is a logical move given that its main cabin completion and maintenance centre is in Indianapolis, USA. Indianapolis has a rich motorsport history dating back to 1909 when the Indianapolis Motor Speedway was built. As part of his prolific racing career, in 2021 Grosjean moved to the IndyCar Series. Moreover, he is an aviation enthusiast, a licensed pilot, and a private jet owner, currently operating a Beechcraft Premier 1.
Comlux said there are many commonalities between the two industries – both require extreme attention to detail, precise engineering, technical acumen, extensive R&D, strategic thinking, talent and teamwork to become a leader.
In the frame of the sponsorship agreement, Grosjean will participate in various activities and events organised by Comlux and will endorse and promote its services to the motorsport community both offline and online.
“Comlux America is very excited about increasing our involvement and sponsorships in Indianapolis’s strong racing culture and history,” said Adam White, CEO of Comlux Completion. “As a Swiss-owned company with a rich history of excellence in VIP aircraft outfitting, Romain is a tailored fit for this sponsorship with his Swiss heritage, pilot license, and F1 and Indy Car racing excellence.”
“I’m super excited to be representing Comlux in this multi-year partnership and to be selected as one of their very few ambassadors,” said Grosjean. “They are leaders in the aviation space and I always like to align myself with the best in any business. I’m looking forward to working on projects with them for many years to come and becoming more involved in the world of Comlux.”
Headquartered in Switzerland with a global presence, Comlux’s services include aircraft sales and acquisitions, aircraft operations and charter management, cabin interiors, maintenance and upgrades.
