Chuck Gumbert is the new general manager of the King Aerospace Commercial Corporation (KACC) facility in Ardmore, Oklahoma. His responsibilities will include heading large and corporate aircraft MRO efforts, as well as overall depot facilities and programs.
“Chuck possesses 40 years of military and commercial aviation experience and understands the importance of quality, efficiency and accountability,” said Jerry King-Echevarria, chairman and founder of King Aerospace.
Gumbert’s career has included periods as CEO of The Tomcat Group, general manager at TECT Aerospace, vice president of M7 Aerospace’s MRO services, president of Electromech Technologies and vice president/general manager of GE Engine Services.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business, with an emphasis on engineering, from the University of Texas at Arlington, as well as Six Sigma certification. He is also the author of three business improvement books, holds an ATP rating and served in the US military.
