RUAG Aviation’s Dassault Falcon-authorized service center in Geneva, Switzerland, has completed its first heavy maintenance event on a Dassault Falcon 7X. The C-check was performed at the same time as a 3C- and a 2C-check, both on Falcon 2000s.
“Our personnel proved their professionalism and their dedication to quality service, as they approached this first-ever Falcon 7X project with precision planning and coordinated technical operations,” said David Ricklin, general manager of RUAG Aviation’s Geneva site. “Customer satisfaction was high, as the inspection progressed according to plan, remained within budget, and ensured on-time aircraft availability.”
The three projects began in February 2017 and involved 19,000 hours of work. The team chose to work double shifts to ensure the aircraft would be delivered on time. RUAG also said the project entailed defining new processes, new SAP workflows and integrating contractors within the RUAG team.
“Our colleagues from Dassault provided us with excellent collaboration and valuable support, allowing us to respond promptly to our customer’s needs,” added Ricklin.
