AMAC’s four hangars are currently operating to full capacity with maintenance work packages on three A340s, one B777 and one B747-8i. More wide-bodies are expected to enter the hangar later in 2017.
In addition, a maintenance contract has been signed for an A330-200. The work includes a major C-Check package, a landing gear overhaul, and interior refurbishment work such as the re-upholstery of the cabin seats and a new cabin carpet.
Following the success of several maintenance inputs on an A340-600, Sky Prime will engage AMAC to perform major modifications on the privately owned aircraft in Q3 2017. The contract, which includes modifications such as cabin re-configuration and refurbishment and the re-design of the cabin, was signed during the MEBAA Show in Dubai, UAE, on December 6-8, 2016.
