FAI Technik has appointed Dario Fetahović as head of maintenance planning and customer support, with immediate effect. Fetahović joins from Bombardier Aerospace’s Amsterdam service center, where he held the same position. He brings extensive experience in aircraft engineering and maintenance, and especially in base maintenance for Bombardier aircraft.
Based at Albrecht Dürer Airport in Nuremberg, Germany, FAI Technik provides MRO services for Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft, including the fleet operated by FAI rent-a-jet. The facility also supports FAI’s dedicated fleet of air ambulance jets.
Fetahović will be responsible primarily for structuring and planning aircraft maintenance events, and the administration of aircraft documents and particularly maintenance records. He will provide the point of contact for FAI’s customers in creating proposals and invoicing of maintenance tasks as well as contracting partners.
“We are delighted to welcome someone of Dario’s caliber to our team at FAI,” said Siegfried Axtmann, chairman at FAI. “We enjoyed a successful 2016 and we have exciting plans afoot for 2017, including the opening of our new Hangar 8 this Spring, which will be dedicated to line maintenance work. Dario’s experience will be an asset in delivering the benefits these developments will offer to our customers and to our organization.”
