The Bell 505 Jet Ranger X has been certified by Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA). Unveiled in 2013, the five-seat short light single helicopter went from concept to a successful first flight in 20 months. The helicopter has accumulated more than 400 letters of intent worldwide since its launch in 2014.
The helicopter has a cruise speed of 125kts, a range of 340 nautical miles and useful load of 1,470 lb. It has a flat-floor, open cabin designed to be configurable for a wide variety of missions and payloads. It can carry up to four passengers or be configured for internal cargo missions by removing quick-disconnect rear cabin seats and/or the co-pilot seat.
