William (Bill) Koperek has been appointed executive vice president of business development for the Comlux Group. With more than 30 years at the Boeing Company, Koperek brings a wealth of business and commercial aviation experience. He has served in a variety of customer-facing roles at Boeing, from field representative to director of fleet support at Boeing Business Jets (BBJ).
“With the arrival of Bill on the management team, Comlux is reinforcing its knowledge and expertise on the BBJ product line,” said Richard Gaona, chairman and CEO at Comlux.
“Thanks to his global understanding of the customer needs in operations, completions and maintenance services, he will support the different businesses of the group around the world.”
In 2001, Koperek was appointed the leader of BBJ’s worldwide support team working out of Seattle, Washington. He worked to help Boeing develop and implement an exclusive customer support program for BBJ customers which included enhancing aircraft warranties, providing component exchange programs, developing low utilization maintenance programs, and managing a global field support team dedicated to Boeing’s business aviation customers. Koperek is a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and he holds FAA commercial pilot and airframe/powerplant licenses.
