Nextant Aerospace, which builds the 400XTi remanufactured business jet, unveiled the newly designed G90XT cabin at NBAA 2016, held in Orlando, Florida, on November 1-3, 2016. The redesigned cabin is available in three options, and features multiple upgrades including a new acoustic package, environmental system and newly designed seat with full articulation.
Similar to the 400XTi, the G90XT has a composite interior shell that increases cabin volume, height and width. The interior also offers an entirely new acoustic and thermal insulation package that lowers ambient cabin noise at altitude by 50%. The interior design team at Nextant introduced a new fully articulating seat that showcases bespoke upholstery. The cabin also benefits from a new LED lighting system featuring upwash, downwash, aisle and individual seat light controls. Finally, based on feedback from current operators, Nextant added a new environmental system designed to offer exceptional ground cooling, even in the most challenging environment. Nextant works in collaboration with its sister company, Constant Aviation, to design and build all its interiors.
“The interior was designed with owner operators specifically in mind, understanding that many times, their expectations are above and beyond what a corporate flight department would typically look for in terms of bespoke finishes and enhanced utilization of available space that better meets the needs of their individual travel patterns,” said Jay Heublein, executive vice president for Nextant Aerospace.
“Everywhere there was a shortcoming with the predecessor plane, the Nextant design team created a solution that has finally delivered the potential this airframe has long been seeking.”
