Jet Aviation Basel has launched a 3D application, JetVision, to provide clients with a secure way to interact with the facility and visually manage their completions projects. The app provides virtual access to a project from anywhere in the world. 3D visuals give accurate depictions of design and engineering before the first part is even built. It is designed to offer secure progress reports, images and video – keeping the client in the loop at all times. When the aircraft is in service, the app can be used for interactive interior maintenance and spare parts support.
“Over recent years, Jet Aviation has made significant use of 3D technology, from design to engineering, production and installation,” said Neil Boyle, senior vice president and general manager of the Jet Aviation Basel Completions Center. “Complementing traditional paper-based 2D documentation, we are now in a position to give a client vivid 3D content that accurately depicts a project’s evolution.”
“Jet Aviation is committed to helping our customer representatives experience the easiest completions project management and gain confidence that their aircraft is progressing well, irrespective of whether they are in Basel or attending to business somewhere else in the world,” said Matt Woollaston, vice president of completions sales and marketing at Jet Aviation Basel.
