John Teager will take over as managing director of Ruag Australia from January 1, 2016, succeeding Thomas Gehring, who is joining the Ruag Group in Bern, Switzerland. Teager, a decorated RAF and RAAF officer and seasoned aviation industry professional, joined Ruag Australia in 2013 as vice president of sales and marketing.
“John Teager has contributed considerably towards securing new, long-term business relationships,” said Stephan Jezler, senior vice president, aviation, international, Ruag Aviation. “He also proved a key leader in the successful positioning of Ruag within the Australian market following the organization’s acquisition of Rosebank Engineering in December 2012.”

Ruag Aviation is the OEM of the Dornier 228 aircraft, and a supplier, support provider and integrator of aircraft systems and components for civil and military customers.
