Air Hamburg has signed a purchase agreement with Embraer for a Legacy 650. The Germany-based business charter operator serves European, Russian and Middle East destinations. This acquisition expands its Embraer fleet to six aircraft – five Legacy 600/650s and one Phenom 300. This delivery is scheduled for the third quarter of 2015.
“The Legacy 600/650 is a great aircraft,” said Floris Helmers, CEO and partner, Air Hamburg. “Three cabin zones and a huge baggage compartment together with the great dispatch reliability make the Legacy the perfect aircraft for our operation. With today’s deal we will take delivery of three new Legacys to our fleet within three quarters of a year. One Legacy 650 joined the fleet in January 2015, one Legacy 600 will be ferried from São José dos Campos in two weeks and today’s Legacy 650 will be delivered in September 2015.”
The Legacy 650 carries up to 14 passengers in three distinct cabin zones. It has a baggage compartment that is fully accessible in flight, and can be configured with two lavatories. The Legacy 650 features internet connectivity and Honeywell’s Ovation Select entertainment and CMS. The aircraft has a range of 3,900 nautical miles with four passengers and NBAA IFR fuel reserves.
