Sabena technics of France has been selected to provide operational maintenance for the new A310 Zero-G aircraft operated by Novespace. Specialized in parabolic flight campaigns, the A310 Zero-G replaces an A300 B2 that was operated by Novespace and which was maintained by Sabena technics since its entry in service in the 1990s.
As part of this contract renewal, Sabena technics will provide full support for the new A310 and its components for 12 years, at its Bordeaux site.
“We are proud of the trust Novespace placed in us,” said Rodolphe Marchais, chairman and CEO, Sabena technics. “This renewal confirms that high-quality performance associated with proximity is a winning combination. We must constantly maintain, improve and develop these aspects. We appreciate and value the loyalty of Novespace since 1996.”
“With Sabena technics we have achieved outstanding results on the operational reliability of the A300 Zero-G, the former aircraft retired in November 2014 after 18 years in service of scientific research,” said Thierry Gharib, general manager of Novespace.
“Sabena technics’ teams have always delivered a high-quality performance and we are pleased to keep working with them.”
