Jet Aviation Basel of Switzerland has completed its first C-check on a Dassault Falcon 7X. At the same time, the Dassault Falcon authorized service center performed a cabin refurbishment, EASy II avionics upgrade and exterior paintwork. The cabin work included refurbishing soft materials, rectifying woodwork and installing a new satcom system.
Technicians worked in shifts on the Falcon 7X to minimize downtime during the C-check, which is the aircraft’s largest maintenance event.
“We are honored to have been entrusted with this prestigious project,” said Fabien Fuster, director of Dassault Falcon maintenance at Jet Aviation Basel. “Customers really appreciate our comprehensive service capabilities and are increasingly taking the opportunity to combine scheduled maintenance with other service offerings.”
“Dassault Falcon owners and operators have been returning to Jet Aviation Basel for 40 years, because they know they can rely on our expertise and experience,” said Johannes Turzer, vice president and general manager of the Jet Aviation Basel maintenance center.
“Our ability to coordinate on-site refurbishments and upgrades during extensive maintenance checks adds further value by enabling our customers to maximize utilization of their aircraft. Combining scheduled maintenance checks with other service offerings is our way of delivering the highest benefit to our clientele.”
