A Bombardier Challenger 605 that can seat nine passengers has joined Meridian Air Charter’s fleet. The aircraft will be based at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey, USA. The cabin includes club seating; conference tables; a berthable divan; a full galley with a microwave, convection ovens and a coffee machine; and a private lavatory with sink. It also offers Iridium satellite phone, Gogo Biz wi-fi, bulkhead video monitors with Airshow 3D moving maps and a dual multimedia player.
“Although the aircraft was manufactured in 2008, the cabin was impeccably refurbished in December 2014, and it makes you feel as though you are in an aircraft that has just rolled off the assembly line,” said Dennis O’Connell, president of Meridian Air Charter, to Business Jet Interiors International. “The club seats and divan were all reupholstered in fine pearl-colored leather; the galley and lavatory countertops and sinks have all been removed and replaced with Corian countertops and matching sinks; and the drink rails, conference tables and cabinetry all have new veneers with a high-gloss finish. We are thrilled to offer our charter clients this Challenger 605.”
The 2014 refurbishment was performed by StandardAero in Springfield, Illinois, USA.
