Russell Coldiron has joined Spirit Aeronautics of Columbus, Ohio, USA, as purchasing/material control manager. Coldiron brings more than three decades of experience in aviation purchasing and supply chain management.

Coldiron has worked for companies including NetJets and Southern Air Transport. At NetJets he rose to become director of materials. Coldiron served in the United States Navy as an aviation machinist mate and later became an aerospace engineering technician for the Naval Aviation Depot, where he performed engineering duties as part of research and engineering competency in the Propulsion and Power department. He holds an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license and numerous service-related medals and awards.
