There is a new senior vice president of communications at Piaggio Aerospace – Rossella Daverio. She will be in charge of internal and external communications, brand management, media and public relations.
Daverio, an Italian, has extensive communications experience both at home and abroad, serving as head of communications for companies including Airbus, Alcatel and Rhone-Poulenc. Prior to joining Piaggio Aerospace, Daverio founded a communications consultancy and most recently held a professorial role teaching international marketing at the Bocconi University of Milan, Italy.
Daverio replaces Enrico Sgarbi, who served as head of communications at Piaggio Aerospace for nearly 10 years. Sgarbi will assume a new role at the beginning of February 2015 as head of communications at another Italian company. Piaggio Aerospace’s management thanked him for his “outstanding commitment and contribution to the company”.
