Electrically heated seats will feature in Model Year 2018 TBM 910 and TBM 930 single-engine turboprops. A restyled cabin was implemented in 2017. The heating mode must first be engaged by the pilot via a master control in the cockpit, and then each passenger is free to decide whether to use it. There are light and moderate settings to choose from.
The aircraft also feature updates aimed at improved pilot interface – including backlighting on the central console for better visibility at night, and a high-fidelity microphone in the pilot’s oxygen mask.
“Updates for the Model Year 2018 underscore our commitment to constant improvement on the TBM 910 and TBM 930,” said Nicolas Chabbert, senior vice president of Daher’s Airplane business unit.
“In addition to benefitting our owners and operators, they enhance the inflight experience for passengers – which is important as we see the development of TBM sales to corporate and commercial operators.”
Daher’s TBM service offerings are also evolving. Total Care Program coverage is still included in the TBM Elite package. In addition, purchasers of Model Year 2018 TBM 910 and TBM 930 aircraft will have subscriptions to the Garmin Pilot database and Jeppesen PilotPak bundle, plus a three-month subscription to Sirius XM weather and radio where available.
