Windsor Capital is investing in the UK’s Farnborough Aircraft Interiors (FAI), enabling the company to expand its services. The company’s capabilities, honed over more than 30 years, include cabin completions, refreshes, and military and special operations interiors.
“The investment allows FAI to expand its service to larger completion projects in new regions as well as growing our airline and large business jet sector offering, while ensuring we continue to deliver the highest standards to our existing clients in our established markets,” said Stewart Macrae, managing director at FAI.
“Key to this is the addition of the skills and experience within Windsor Capital itself supporting our management team with considerable breadth and depth across the aerospace business and our markets, in particular its international experience.”
“We’re not an investment company in the traditional sense, rather we’re taking a fresh approach to the aviation industry based on our successful careers within it,” said Dave Edwards, partner at Windsor Capital.
“Having worked with Hugh [Macrae – CEO, FAI] and Stewart for almost 20 years, we’ve seen the business grow to become one of the key interiors providers to a significant number of manufacturers, maintenance providers and owners. With the breadth and depth of the skills at Windsor Capital, combined with the attention to detail, focus and care that the FAI team provides to our customers, we’re really excited about the future.”
