Following receipt of official approval by the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA, the German CAA) in November, Aero-Dienst officially opened its maintenance line station at Kärnten Airport in Austria on January 29.
This facility extends Aero-Dienst’s service network for various aircraft models manufactured by Challenger, Falcon, Global and Hawker, for scheduled maintenance, warranty repairs and unscheduled maintenance work.
“When a maintenance operation at Kärnten Airport closed down, that gave us the opportunity to take over the facilities including hangar space,” said Christian Weigl, manager of the maintenance line stations. “This has the advantage that we are now in a position to provide significantly more flexible and fast service to our long-term customers at this location.”
“Opening a new line station underlines the importance of the Austrian market, centrally located as it is for our service network,” said André Ebach, head of maintenance at Aero-Dienst’s Nuremberg facility.
