Astronics AeroSat’s FliteStream satellite broadband data solutions have been approved for operation over Intelsat’s FlexExec service. The FliteStream range includes fuselage- and tail-mount satcom solutions, suitable for commercial, business, governmental and VVIP aircraft.
FlexExec is a managed end-to-end service that is accessible via Intelsat’s global, multi-layered Ku-band satellite fleet. Specifically designed to cover high-traffic business jet routes, FlexExec integrates layers of high-throughput satellite (HTS) coverage from the company’s Intelsat EpicNG fleet with the company’s wide-beam Ku-band satellites – all intended to deliver added resiliency and redundancy. FlexExec also aggregates Intelsat’s space segment and the IntelsatOne ground infrastructure into a streamlined ecosystem.
FliteStream solutions include Astronics AeroSat’s patented lens-horn technology, designed to maximize efficiency, reliability and performance. These solutions integrate next-generation satellite modem technology and are compatible with next-generation Ku-band HTS and iDirect Velocity networks.
