EASA has granted Part 21 Subpart J Design Organisation Approval (DOA) to HAECO Private Jet Solutions (HAECO PJS), the HAECO Group’s cabin completion specialist.
The news means HAECO PJS can now approve minor changes and repairs for parts and appliances covering the cabin, structures and electrical systems on private jets and commercial aircraft.
With the EASA DOA, HAECO PJS broadens its cabin design, certification and completion solutions, delivering more robust assurance to customers on schedule integrity for modifications such as connectivity upgrades, flight deck and cabin interior refurbishment, and livery changes. These modifications can be certified in-house by a dedicated team of compliance verification engineers (CVEs) and performed on aircraft registered in multiple jurisdictions.
HAECO PJS is an Airbus-approved and Boeing-licensed cabin completion center. It is a CAAC-approved DMDOR, holds Part 21J DOA from the Hong Kong CAD and has an approved working arrangement with EASA to validate STCs issued by HKCAD.
In April 2016, HAECO PJS was appointed an ACJ service center, strengthening its maintenance support for ACJ aircraft. Since its establishment in 2008, HAECO PJS has performed green ACJ319 cabin completions and BBJ retrofits.
