West Star Aviation is seeing increased demand for Bombardier Global Express inspections at its site in East Alton, Illinois. The company has four 120-month inspections booked for the first half of 2019. The demand can be accommodated because West Star recently added more hangar space and technicians at the site.
“We have seen an increased number of inspection requests for Bombardier and Global airframes from previous years,” said Scott Sweeney, general manager, West Star Aviation. “With more than half of the year still remaining, we are positioned well to accommodate several more heavy-maintenance events.”
In addition to all major inspections and repairs, including the 120- and 240-month inspections, West Star offers “one-stop” service for Global, Global 5000, Global Express and Global XRS models, as well as being a factory-authorized service provider for Rolls Royce BR710 engines and Honeywell RE220 APUs. It also offers avionics repair and installations, exterior paint and interior refurbishments for Global types.
