CTT Systems has received its 100th order for the Inflight Humidification (IFH) VIP system. The solution has been ordered for various VIP aircraft (ACJ and BBJ) types, including the latest-generation narrowbodies such as the ACJ320neo and BBJ Max families, and widebodies including the ACJ350 and BBJ 787.
“This is a great milestone achievement not only for CTT but also for our many completion partners involved in the completion projects,” said Peter Landquist, vice president, senior advisor sales, CTT Systems. “Our IFH VIP system has evolved as a common request in completion projects, especially for VIP aircraft intended for long-haul operations, and with end customers that value good health, wellbeing and feeling at ease during and after flight. Our IFH VIP system has battle-proven performance in large VIP cabins and holds excellent reliability data.”
One recent order for the IFH VIP system (CTT’s 97th) was from AMAC Aerospace, for a BBJ Max 8 aircraft. To increase humidity throughout the entire cabin, three humidifiers will be installed. Moisture protection will be provided by CTT’s Anti-Fuselage-Condensation technology. The system is scheduled to be delivered to AMAC in the second quarter of 2022.
“We look forward to work together with CTT once again in a VIP completion project,” said Tracey Hawthorne-Kurz, director of logistics and purchasing at AMAC Aerospace Switzerland. “Cabin humidification is a common request from our VIP clients that value good health, wellbeing and feeling at ease during and after flight.”
“We are pleased to cooperate with AMAC Aerospace in fitting our IFH system in another BBJ Max VIP completion,” said Landquist.
The CTT humidifier is based on evaporative cooling technology designed to effectively preclude the transfer of bacteria.
