AMAC Aerospace has ordered CTT Systems’ Inflight Humidification (IFH) VIP system for an ACJ319neo. Two humidifiers will be supplied, to increase humidity through the entire cabin. The solution also includes anti-condensation protection for the fuselage.
The system is scheduled for delivery to AMAC in the second quarter of 2021. The order marks the 96th time CTT Systems’ IFH VIP system has been selected for ACJ or BBJ aircraft.
“Once again, AMAC Aerospace look forward to a VIP completion project that includes CTT’s humidification system,” said Tracey Hawthorne-Kurz, director of logistics and purchasing at AMAC Aerospace Switzerland. “Cabin humidification is a common request from our VIP clients that value good health, wellbeing and feeling at ease during and after flight.”
“We are delighted for another order from AMAC Aerospace,” said Peter Landquist, vice president and senior advisor, sales, at CTT Systems.
CTT Systems says that without an efficient humidification system, VIP or large-cabin business jet interiors feature a relative humidity (RH) below 5%. The RH on this ACJ319neo should be increased to approximately 20%.
The company says that on VIP long-haul flights, the system reduces problems related to dry cabin air, such as fatigue, jet lag, red eyes, dry throat, dry skin and the spread of viral diseases, as well as improving wellbeing and general sleep.
The CTT humidifier is based on evaporative cooling technology and uses a method designed to effectively preclude the transfer of bacteria. The CTT IFH VIP system offers total anti-condensation protection.
