Several interesting products are being presented by Zodiac Aerospace at Aircraft Interiors Expo, held in Hamburg, Germany, on April 4-6, 2017. These include the Five fragrance diffuser, which the company says is certifiable and can be installed throughout an aircraft cabin.
Another highlight is the Revolution toilet, a Crystal Cabin Award finalist. The modular toilet assembly is designed to minimize health hazards, use 33% less water per flush than the industry standard, and includes composite and recyclable materials. Zodiac Aerospace says that air gaps in the toilet rinse ring enable the shroud to seal directly to the toilet, creating more airflow for a cleaner flush, and helping to prevent waste from building up under the shroud.
Other products to be shown include the WhiZper Active Noise Control System, a headset-free system designed to protect passengers from environmental sounds; and the Heliott Smart Reading Light, which adjusts automatically to the passenger’s movements.
