CTT Systems has received an order for an Inflight Humidification (IFH) VIP system from Jet Aviation for an ACJ340.
The installation is intended to increase humidity throughout the entire cabin, which requires support from four humidifiers with anti-fuselage condensation protection. The order marks CTT Systems’ 94th IFH VIP order for ACJ and BBJ aircraft. The system should be delivered to Jet Aviation in April 2020.
CTT says that without an efficient humidification system, VIP cabin air has relative humidity (RH) below 5%, but its system will increase humidity on the ACJ340 to around 20% RH.
The CTT humidifier is based on evaporative cooling technology and uses a method designed to effectively preclude the transfer of bacteria. The CTT IFH VIP system also offers anti-condensation protection.
“Cabin humidification critically impacts the comfort and wellbeing of passengers in flight, which is a top priority for Jet Aviation,” said Michael Fuchs, programme director for large aircraft at Jet Aviation. “We have an excellent working relationship with CTT Systems and consider its IFH VIP system to be the industry’s most robust and reliable humidification system.”
