A 3,300m² facility has opened at Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse’s site in Campsas near Toulouse, France – an investment of €6.5m (US$7.6m).
The new site is staffed by 170 people. It will manufacture mechanical precision parts for air management systems, including rotors for turbines and compressors, and high-temperature valve bodies. These are used for engine bleed air systems and air conditioning systems.
