Boeing Business Jets is displaying a new 1:12-scale, 10ft-long cutaway model of the BBJ Max 7, its newest aircraft, as part of Boutsen Design’s House of Excellence exhibition at the Monaco Yacht Club during the Monaco Yacht Show, from September 27-30, 2017. The model features 275 light sources and five working TV screens.
Previous projects on which Boeing Business Jets and Boutsen Design, a cabin outfitting specialist, collaborated include the recently completed BBJ demonstrator aircraft. “Boutsen Design adds the finishing touches that turn a beautiful yacht or BBJ into a home,” said Daniela Boutsen, founder of Boutsen Design.
“The BBJ Max 7 is the aircraft we have always wanted to build; with 884ft² of cabin space and a maximum range of 7,000 nautical miles it is really an unbeatable business jet,” said Greg Laxton, president, Boeing Business Jets.
After an international design competition, Boeing Business Jets chose Alberto Pinto to create an interior design showcasing the possibilities of the aircraft. “It should not come as a surprise that we selected Alberto Pinto,” said Laxton. “Not only do they design for VIP aircraft, but Alberto Pinto also has extensive experience in the yacht world. Their timeless style really appeals to our worldwide customer base.”
