Bombardier has been awarded Transport Canada certification for its Challenger 650 aircraft, with customer deliveries expected to commence in 2015. A demonstration aircraft will be featured at NBAA2015, to be held in Las Vegas, USA, on November 17-19.
“With the widest-in-class cabin, breakthrough design attributes and unique expressions of comfort, control and connectivity, the Challenger 650 aircraft has a strong future and we are confident that it will earn the appreciation of executives, pilots and operators around the world,” said Paul Sislian, chief operating officer, Bombardier Business Aircraft.
The Challenger 650 has a range of 4,000 nautical miles. Replacing the Challenger 605, the Challenger 650 features a completely restyled cabin, new seats, a redesigned galley, a new CMS, HD monitors, AVOD, and Bluetooth integration and connectivity.
