Cessna recently rolled out its 100th Citation M2 business jet, less than two years after gaining FAA certification. It is preparing to deliver the aircraft in December 2015 to Aviation Unmanned, a USA-based business providing unmanned aircraft systems consultation, training and commercial services.
“Since entering the market in December 2013, the Citation M2 has quickly become the best-selling business jet in its class,” said Kriya Shortt, senior vice president, sales and marketing. “No comparable light jet can offer the M2’s combination of speed, range and payload, making it a great fit for customers in a wide variety of missions around the world.”
The Citation M2 has a range of 1,540 nautical miles and seating for seven. The main passenger cabin is 58in wide and 11ft long with a 5in dropped aisle providing a cabin height of 57in. It also features eight windows and adjustable seats.
