Daher has hailed the TBM community’s participation at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2017, held at Wittman Regional Airport, Wisconsin, on July 24-30. In all, 60 TBM turboprops attended the fly-in, including eight from Europe and one from Brazil.
Daher showcased the TBM 930 and TBM 910 at the event, as well as a full-scale replica of the historic Morane-Saulnier Type L. The company sold four pre-owned TBMs, as well as two TBM 930s – one for a customer in Georgia, USA, and the other to be based around Toronto, Canada.
“EAA AirVenture Oshkosh was extremely positive for us this year, and mirrors the overall success of the 2017 show,” said Nicolas Chabbert, senior vice president of the Daher Airplane business unit, and president of US subsidiary Socata North America.
“This is an encouraging sign of recovery for our segment of the business aviation sector, which currently is very flat.”
