Following on from the Transport Canada certification received earlier in 2018, the Bell 407GXi has been certified by the FAA. The first of its type kitted out for corporate transportation was delivered to Eagle Copters of Chile.
The helicopter is based on the Bell 407 platform. Enhancements were made to pilot awareness, precision navigation, engine controls and connectivity.
“This is an important milestone for the program and Bell is proud to announce the first delivery since the introduction of the Bell 407GXi earlier this year,” said Susan Griffin, executive vice president, commercial business. “Our customers continue to compliment the aircraft’s performance and enhanced all-glass digital cockpit.”
