Embraer’s Legacy 450 has received type certification from the FAA, a few weeks after the mid-light jet earned certification from Brazil’s civil aeronautics authority, ANAC. The first delivery is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2015.
The Legacy 450 seats up to nine passengers and features a 6ft-tall cabin and a flat floor. Four fully reclining club seats can be berthed into two beds. The optional IFE system consists of an HD video system, surround sound, and multiple audio and video input options. Voice and data communications options are also available. The cabin features a refreshment center at the entrance, a rear private lavatory with a vacuum toilet, and an inflight accessible baggage area.
The Legacy 450 has a range of 2,575 nautical miles with four passengers and NBAA IFR reserves.
