Dassault Aviation’s new Falcon 8X has earned two additional certifications since entering service less than one month ago. The trijet is making its maiden appearance with a completed interior at NBAA 2016, held on November 1-3 in Orlando, Florida. The new type approvals – from Brazil and the UAE – follow certification by the FAA and the EASA in June 2016. Others, including from India, are expected shortly.
The first aircraft was handed over earlier in October 2016 to Greek operator AMJet Executive at Dassault’s Bordeaux-Mérignac facility. The Falcon 8X is also on track for additional deliveries to operators in a dozen countries, from Brazil, the USA and Europe, to the UAE and India, over the coming months.
Derived from the Falcon 7X, the Falcon 8X offers the greatest range (6,450 nautical miles) and the longest cabin of any Falcon. It features a very large selection of standard cabin configurations. Options include an onboard shower and Dassault’s new FalconEye Combined Vision System head-up display.
