The G600, Gulfstream latest’s clean-sheet aircraft, will make its Farnborough International Airshow debut on July 16-22. The aircraft displayed features a mirrored mid-cabin bulkhead and handcrafted quilted seats. The G500, G650ER and G280 will also be at the show, along with a Special Missions exhibit.
More than 225 Gulfstream aircraft are based in Europe, and the London area of the UK has the highest volume of Gulfstream traffic in the region. The manufacturer plans to create an MRO at TAG London Farnborough Airport, one of its largest in the world.
“Our European fleet has grown by more than 15% since 2013,” said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream.
“The region continues to be one of our strongest international markets, as evidenced by the investments we’ve made there, including appointing a dedicated regional senior vice president of sales and planning a new company-owned European service center.
“We are committed to the region and look forward to showcasing our two newest products, the G500 and G600, as well as the G650ER and G280, in the heart of the UK.”
