August 30, 2017 – Since the service entry of the G280 in November 2012, the worldwide fleet has passed 100,000 flight hours.
“The G280 continues to reinforce its status as the premier super-mid-size aircraft in business aviation,” said Dan Nale, senior vice president, programs, engineering and test, Gulfstream. “It has a class-leading combination of range, fuel efficiency and field performance, and the technology typically found on a larger business jet.”
The fleet of more than 115 jets has exhibited a dispatch reliability of 99.9% through July 2017. The aircraft has a range of 3,600 nautical miles at Mach 0.80.
